A truly unique grape variety grown in conjunction with the CSIRO as part of a program to produce high-quality red wine grapes in specific Australian conditions. Peter Drayton wines are proud to be
only one of an incredibly small group of producers in Australia selected to grow this exquisite grape variety at our vineyard. A hybrid of the Spanish Sumol grape and the classic French variety Cabernet Sauvignon, this big gutsy red presents with a deep purple red hue, a full-bodied palate brimming with rich ripe blackberry notes and terrific spice.
